Mongolian Doctors Successfully Participate in the Annual International Breast Cancer Conference in South Korea
Mongolian physicians have been actively and successfully participating in the annual international breast cancer conference held in South Korea. This conference aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge on breast cancer treatment, research, new technologies, and therapeutic approaches among specialists from all around the world, while also strengthening collaboration among experts.
During this year’s conference, Mongolian doctors shared their research findings, innovative methods, and clinical experiences related to breast cancer treatment, which became an important part of the event.
Participation of Mongolian Institutions:
Doctors from Intermed Hospital, the Breast Center of the National Cancer Center (NCC), Breast Clinic, and MNUMS delivered oral and poster presentations. Additionally, young doctors participated in short-term clinical training programs at local hospitals.
Diplomatic and Professional Collaboration:
The Ambassador of Mongolia to South Korea and participating Mongolian doctors were officially received by the leadership of the Korean Breast Cancer Society. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding future cooperation, physician training, and institutional partnerships between medical organizations in both countries.
Both sides exchanged ideas on strengthening institutional collaboration, jointly organizing training programs, and implementing research projects. These discussions were seen as vital steps toward creating new opportunities for breast cancer treatment in the future.
Such collaboration is expected to make a significant contribution to introducing international standards, new technologies, and advanced treatment approaches into Mongolia’s healthcare system.
